Our Financial Officer brings an extensive background in commercial finance, banking and investment analysis, including experience across asset financing, foreign exchange, commodities and options trading. He has a strong track record in evaluating high value projects, structuring deals and navigating complex financial markets.

He specialises in modelling ROI, IRR and long term asset performance to demonstrate the clear economic value of solar, while helping businesses select the most effective funding structures for their goals.

With over 20 years of experience, Matt Masters is a fully qualified electrician and highly respected solar specialist. He has delivered a wide range of installations across the UK, from residential rooftops to large and technically demanding commercial systems. As the lead of our installation operations, Matt ensures every project is completed with precision, safety and full compliance.

His expertise spans solar PV, battery storage, hybrid systems and EV charging, enabling Lucent to offer complete energy solutions that perform reliably in real-world conditions. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and calm, solutions-focused approach, Matt drives the high standards of quality and performance that define every Lucent system.

Oliver Bales

Oli brings strong experience in sales, customer service and team management, along with a professional background in acting that gives him exceptional communication skills. He focuses on building clear, confident relationships with clients and ensuring a smooth journey from first enquiry through to completed solar projects.
